About In this work, I depict the rush as a crowd so tightly packed that individual faces blur into one continuous flow. Everyone moves with their own urgency, rarely noticing who’s beside them. I positioned myself at the center because that’s how it truly feels when I try to slow down while everything keeps pushing forward. I hold the brush because it’s the only thing that will stay with me through every high and low, also helping me recognize the people who matter to me, even as they were swept up in the relentless motion.
